Dies to Die for competition entry
Hello Ladies!
This is my entry for the dies to die for sketch challenge competition that you can find at http://cuteycrafts.blogspot.com/2009/05/sketch-challenge.html. Its a fun sketch, which I thought would make a great 'Z' card, so I gave it a shot to try and be a little different! The first prize is the Rain Snow and Shine Miss Anya set from The Greeting Farm. I know some of you are already familiar with Anya stamps and I love them with a passion! Tracy at Dies to Die For has a great selection of them on her website.
I used the adorable Chloe stamp which I coloured with Copics (as usual) and downloaded papers from Sweet Shoppe Designs.
This is the first time I've ever entered one of my cards into a competition, so to say that my heart will be in my mouth over the next few days is no understatement!
Thanks for looking and see you all at Dabblers! x
Hi Girls,
Here is a card I made on Friday night at the Dabblers in Ilkeston, the theme for the evening was floral, unfortunately I haven't purchased any floral stamps as yet but I did add some flowers onto it my card, the image is stamped with a magnolia stamp and coloured in with copics, the card and the Yummy stamp are from stampin up and the patterned paper is K&Co. It was a lovely night lots of chatting and crafting looking forward to the next one, see you soon Debbie x

Ilkeston Dabblers First Meeting
Ilkeston Dabblers held their first meeting on Friday 22nd May and we had a great turn out for our first get together.
We sat there looking through cards that other people had made and a lovely book that Elvie had received from another crafter, as well a new magazines and unusual stamps. Copic information was handed out and we all stamped for few hours with a floral theme (well most of us did). Some lovely cards were made on the night.
Here are a couple of photos I managed to take (nearly forgot to take my camera out of my bag).
Thank you to everyone for making the night such a pleasant one. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
The next Ilkeston get together will be on Friday 19th June.

Hi Paula and everyone
Your cards are simply beautiful Paula, and having seen the start of the boutique one, the tiny stamps look gorgeous. I wonder if you found your "shoe".
I will have a go at posting a card or two soon (when I get round the photo-ing some).
Happy crafting everyone
Enjoy today

Hello everyone, Tracey has sent me a link to our blog - what a challenge - if this works I can show off to my teenagers!! I will try to "download or is it upload some card photos" - here goes!!
I had a lovely time at Derby Dabblers this month - I never get much done but it's lovely to meet so many people who love crafting like I do!
Here are my cards that I started at DD but as usual didn't finish until I got home! Pauline Ann very kindly showed me how to make a diorama template - she even wrote out the instructions when she could see how pathetic I am at crafting and talking!! Thanks Pauline Ann for your patience! I turned my template on it's side and it still works!
I also finished my little boutique card which was supposed to be for our theme of pink and brown - I think theres a bit of pink and brown in there! It's only simple compared to some of the amazing cards I saw at DD's - but at least I finished it which is good for me!!
Take care Paula xx
