Apologies, Apologies

I'm really sorry that there was no Spondon Dabblers last Friday. The Amateur Dramatic Society had booked it for their production and they had hired all the rooms. The next Spondon one is on 11th November. Once again, Anne and I are sorry for the cancellation at short notice.
See you all soon

Spondon Dabblers 21/10/11

Good morning Ladies

Well what a change in the weather from last weekend.  I think the summer has finally left us.

Last night was our Derby Dabblers in Allenton and it was a great night.  I caught up with lots of people who I'd not seen for ages.  We also made a 'bag in a box' which was really very easy to make and is just the ticket for putting a present in.   I know I am a bit quick in sending out information for Spondon Dabblers but I thought I'd do it whilst I had a bit of time
It's our Spondon Dabblers get together in just under 2 weeks  and below are all the usual details.

Date and Times:

  • Friday October 21st  at 18:30 - 21:30
  • Venue: Spondon Village Hall
  • Cost  £3.00 per adult  (which includes tea, coffee & biscuits)

If you need directions, please let me know.

Theme for the night
The theme for this month is Autumn colours. As usual, you don't have to follow the theme,  you can bring along your own project to start or finish. Don't forget,
if you just want an evening without crafting, that is fine too as there are so many people to sit and chat with that I am sure you will still have an interesting night.

Show and Tell
Please bring along any cards or scrapbook pages or anything else that you may have done recently as everyone loves to look at what has been created but, be
warned, you may need to tell everyone how you made it.

For Sale or For Swap
If you have any crafting items that you wish to sell or swap for something else, you are most welcome to bring them along to see if anyone on the
night may way to purchase/swap with you.

Demonstration
Yet to be deceided upon - if you have any ideas please e -mail me

Badges, drinks and mugs
There may be one or two new people joining us again so it would help if we can all try to remember to wear a badge with our name on
and don't forget  to bring your own mug for your drinks, but if you forget your mug  there is a limited supply in the cupboard.
If the parent/responsible adults of the teenagers let me know what the youngsters would like to drink, I can make sure that we have something
available.
It would really be appreciated if you can let me know if you will be coming along to this get together so that we know how many
we are catering for.
