Derby Dabblers Newsletter for October
I have returned from my holiday and what a lovely time we had. I hope that all those that have been away have had a lovely
break.
FRIDAY OCTOBER 1st
Derby Dabblers will be taking place at St. Martins Church Hall from 6.30 - 9.30. If you are able to arrive at 6.30 to lend a
hand with setting up the tables, it will be appreciated.
Anne Bull offered to do a demo for us, wallets/treat pouches and the materials needed to make these are.
Cardstok 7 1/2" x 6 1/4"
Cardstock 8 1/4" x 5"
Both of these can be cut from one sheet of A4
Patterned paper 2 pieces 3 1/2" x 6 "
Patterned paper 1 1/2" x 6"
You will also need a paper trimmer, sorer (or embossing tool and ruler), scissors and Hi tack tape.
I am sure that if you dont have some of the tools there will be plenty of us there who will have.
Sandra and Jackie have organised the goodies to eat this month. If you havent already brought anything scrummy to one of the
Dabblers Evenings would you like to do so in November? If so can you send me an email and I will get back to you to confirm
who will be doing this.
The theme for the evening has to be Christmas - colours of red, green and gold. As usual, you dont have to follow the theme
and you can work on any project that you wish.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN ATTEND.
SATURDAY 23rd OCTOBER
Stamping up Parties throughout the day - more details available at Dabblers but if you are unable to attend dabblers but
fancy coming along to a Stampin Up party, please let me know and I shall send out more information.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 31st
Rumour has it that the Papermax show will be taking place at Moorways. This was cancelled in September but unfortunately
I cant confirmation from anywhere about this new date. Should I hear anything, I will keep you posted.
DERBY DABBLERS DISCOUNT CARDS
I shall try my best to get these organised this week. If you havent got a discount card that can be used at Reams in Derby
or Sheilas in Spondon, please let me know, if you havent done already.
